During your stay at the Deux Tours, do not hesitate to walk in the morning in the souks and the old town, but also the colonial district, named Guéliz, more recent and also known as “The new city”. Here, shopping is easier and you will also find the ‘Gueliz Market’, a street life, cafes and many good places to eat. The streets are lined with orange trees, jacarandas and the activity is much less “intense” in Gueliz than in the narrow streets of the medina (old town).
If your flight arrives in Marrakech after dark, stay first in Marrakech, then head to the countryside. You can share the time of your stay equitably between Les Deux Tours in the beautiful palm grove of Marrakech (10 minutes from the old town by free shuttle) and a charming hotel in the mountains of Atlas as we recommend:
